Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup nuts (almonds, pecans, cashews, etc, your choice)
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/4 cup 100% maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped dates
Recipe
- Place a large skillet/pan on the stove over medium-high heat and add coconut oil and maple syrup.
- Cook oil and syrup together until bubbly.
- Add all the ingredients (oats, almonds, coconut, flaxseed, cinnamon, etc).
- Stir well and continue moving around with a wooden spatula until the mix turns golden brown (about 3–4 minutes).
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the granola cool completely before storing it in a container/jar.
