Chocolate Tart
By Ilean Almaguer
INGREDIENTS
1 cup oats
1 cup walnuts
10oz chocolate chips (I used dark chocolate)
1 orange zest
2 cups pitted dates
2 cans coconut cream
RECIPE
Add a cup of oats, walnuts, and two cups of pitted dates to the food processor.
Blend until processed but slightly chunky.
Spread the mix into a tart dish covered in wax paper and press it firmly into the base and sides.
In a pot, add the coconut cream and orange zest and simmer it for about 10 minutes.
Turn off the stove.
Add chocolate chips to the hot coconut cream and whisk it until the chocolate is melted.
Chill the “ganache” for a little bit and pour it on the tart crust.
Chill the tart in the fridge for 5-6 hours.
Decorate with some oranges and mint.
Enjoy!
