This simple Za’atar Flatbread combines fragrant spices, rich olive oil, and fresh tomato for a warm, flavorful bite. Quick to make and endlessly versatile, it’s perfect as a snack, side, or base for your favorite toppings.

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup za’atar spice
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 1 thinly sliced tomato
  • 1 piece of flatbread

RECIPE

  1. Heat the oven to 445 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Lay the flatbread on a cooking pan.
  3. Mix the olive oil and za’atar into a paste.
  4. Spread the paste using a spoon onto the flatbread.
  5. Slice a tomato into thin pieces and spread onto the flatbread.
  6. Cook in the oven until golden brown.
