Starting an Instagram fundraiser for Support+Feed is an easy, fast, and impactful way to make a big difference by sharing your passion, raising critical funds to feed communities, and helping others learn about our mission.
How to set up your fundraiser:
From your profile page, follow these simple steps:
1. Click on the menu in the top right corner (it displays as three horizontal lines). Scroll down to âYour orders and fundraisersâ and select âFundraisers.â
2. Click on the âCreate fundraiserâ button.
3. Search for and select Support+Feed as the charitable nonprofit you are fundraising for.
4. Set your fundraising goal and deadline. Add an image or graphic (fresh produce, the earth, a selfie, or just a solid colored background with text) and donât forget to include why you are raising money for Support+Feed! Here are some examples:
- Our neighbors are in crisis. According to the USDA, 47 million people experience food insecurity in the US every year, and itâs only getting worse.
- The government has cut food assistance programs and support for food banks.
- Everyone deserves fresh food, respect, and dignity.
- Climate disasters are only getting more common.
- We need to transform our planet-destroying food system.
- To support local farmers.
Make sure the âShare to feedâ toggle is turned âonâ so your followers see your fundraiser.
5. Click âCreate fundraiser.â
6. Over the course of your fundraiser, create posts highlighting Support+Feedâs work and why you are raising money — and direct followers to your fundraising link (which automatically appears in your bio). You can also share posts from the @supportandfeed account and mention in the caption that there is a âlink in bioâ to your fundraiser.
