Maggie spoke with Charlotte Hill, the CEO of @thefelixproject, on IG Live about all their incredible work in the UK. The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity, working with supermarkets, restaurants, wholesalers, manufacturers, farmers and charities to get surplus food where it’s needed most across all four nations of the UK. They support 8,000 charities, feeding 1.5 million people a year!!
Thanks to @billieeilish and her wonderful fans, this is one of the incredible organizations we get to work with. With @supportandfeed’s guidance, surplus produce is transformed into ready-to-eat plant-based foods like pumpkin laksa meal kits, rhubarb-raspberry-rose jam, and vegan coleslaw. Food that would have gone to waste gets a second life❤️
