Granola
Ilean Almaguer
INGREDIENTS
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup nuts (almonds, pecans, cashews, etc, your choice)
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup 100% maple syrup
1/4 cup chopped dates
RECIPE
Place a large skillet/pan on the stove over medium-high heat and add coconut oil and maple syrup.
Cook oil and syrup together until bubbly.
Add all the ingredients (oats, almonds, coconut, flaxseed, cinnamon, etc).
Stir well and continue moving around with a wooden spatula until the mix turns golden brown (about 3–4 minutes).
Remove the pan from the heat and let the granola cool completely before storing it in a container/jar.
Enjoy
