- 1 pound package (454 grams) of your favorite pasta- we recommend fusilli or penne
- 2 medium zucchinis
- 1 cup (180 grams) of cherry tomatoes
- 1 large bell pepper
- 1 medium yellow or sweet onion
- 2-4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp (15ml) of olive oil for roasting
- 1 tsp (5ml) of pepper flakes, or to taste
- ½ tsp (2.5ml) sea salt, or to taste
- 1 tsp (5ml) of fresh or dried oregano
- 2-3 tbsp (30-45 ml) of olive oil, on finished pasta
- ¼ cup (32 grams) of fresh basil, chopped
- Pinch of black pepper to taste
