3 Ingredient Chocolate Mousse

By Support and Feed

We are obsessed with the Tofu Chocolate Mousse Priyansh Parekh made on Maggie’s IG Live! It’s the perfect dessert to make for your loved ones this Valentine’s Day with just 3 basic ingredients. Maggie has some creative options to make it extra special or give it your own flair!

INGREDIENTS

  • 7.5 oz (213 g) dark chocolate
  • 1/3 cup (79 ml) soy milk
  • 11oz (312 g) soft silken tofu package

Priyansh’s Toppings

  • Olive oil drizzle
  • Flakey salt

Maggie’s Alternate Topping Options

  • Chocolate curls, fresh raspberries or strawberries, mint leaves, and orange slices.

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS
Optional flavorings: vanilla bean paste, a few drops of orange oil, peppermint extract, etc.

RECIPE

  1. Remove the tofu from its package and puree in a high-speed blender until completely smooth.
  2. Heat the soy milk (in the microwave or on the stove), then pour it over the dark chocolate in a separate bowl. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth and slightly runny.
  3. Add the chocolate mixture to the pureed tofu in the blender and combine on high speed.
  4. If desired, stir in the optional vanilla bean paste, orange oil, or mint….
  5. Transfer the mixture to desired dishes (ramekins work really well) and refrigerate until set. It’s okay if the mixture seems a bit runny at first—it will firm up in the fridge. This may take a few hours.
  6. To serve, top with olive oil and flaky salt OR your desired toppings (chocolate curls, raspberries, orange sections, etc), or enjoy as is.

Note from Maggie: I like to add a little vanilla and chocolate shavings to mine, and Priyansh topped his mousse with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt to add a little richness and flair. Try your favorite flavorings! … orange oil, peppermint extract, etc.
